Chamfer Dogs eliminate the collar found on traditional bench dogs, using a precision machined chamfered lip instead. This creates a perfectly uniform vertical surface that's ideal for positioning workpieces, especially taller or stacked materials. Note that chamfer dogs do require all dog holes to have a small chamfer cut, either by router, by using a UJK Combination Chamfer & Reamer, or using the UJK Hand Chamfer.
