The DeWalt Upgraded Rip Fence is only compatible with the DWE7491RS Types 1, 2, 3 and 10.
Because the DWE7480 is a discontinued model we are unable to test the fence on this model. A fellow woodworker who owns a DWE7480 tested the Upgraded Rip Fence. He reports the fence is too long and too tall for this model.
